On October 20th, the traditional Knowledge Fair took place. During this event, first-year students get the chance to introduce themselves, and to get to know potential supervisors they may work with during the program and beyond. Finding the right match is essential, as IDA’s curriculum includes many research projects, such as the four internal traineeships (Traineeship 1, Traineeship 2, Traineeship 3, Traineeship 4), the First Year Paper, and the Master’s thesis.
The event alternated student’s presentations of themselves and their research interests, and opportunities to discuss these interests with the supervisors and teachers that were present.
This was a great opportunity for the first-year students to familiarize themselves with the different departments and their researchers, and to get inspiring new research ideas!
