What inspired you to pursue the IDA Master program?
I believe the program has a good fit with my talents and skills.
What motivates you to pursue this field of study, and what personal significance or purpose do you find in it?
I believe that most (psychological) treatment have strong focus on groups, but ignore the needs of the individual. This program offers valuable insights on how treatment can be improved.
Which field do you see yourself pursuing after completing the program?
Research, coaching, health promotion.
Looking at the program schedule, which course(s) are you most excited about and why?
Individual Differences in Personality, Lifestyle, and Health. During my bachelor when I was looking around for electives, I already saw this course and I wanted to take part in it because it has a strong match with my interests.
Do you ever feel stressed or under pressure in your studies? How do you manage those challenges? Would you like to share some tips?
I would suggest to have a meeting with the study advisor or the program director of the IDA program to see what could fit your individual needs.
What motivates you to keep going when things get tough?
I believe that finishing a research master is a great achievement.
What do you enjoy most about collaborating with your peers, supervisors, or being part of the IDA community?
To take part into activities next to the IDA program to relax and have fun.
How would you describe an “IDA Student”? What common qualities do they share, and who do you think is best suited for this program?
A common quality that most students share are a strong work ethic and commitment.
Is there anything you wish you had known before starting that would have made your journey smoother, and what advice (or tip) would you give to someone just beginning the program?
I would say that it is important to be authentic and be yourself.
