At the end of the academic year, IDA students took part in the talent management workshop.
The aim of the workshop was to identify talents and pitfalls as well as to create an awareness of students’ strengths. It adds to the aspect of character building that is incorporated throughout the whole IDA program. Second, the workshop also focused on labor market orientation.
The workshop comprised several exercises where students were encouraged to work in groups and interact with one another.
“It is interesting to hear other people’s thought and opinions” was the impression of the workshop, especially since because of online classes we didn’t really have the opportunity to get to know fellow students the way we wanted to.
A certain exercise that left an overall good impression was the one where student had to picture themselves as older and looking back at their life. One big focus of the workshop was learning how to present oneself, highlighting the importance of making a good impression.
Even though some exercises we experienced before, it was a pleasant way to remind us we need to be actively involved in our future and create a good impression and representation of ourselves.
