Teacher and traineeship/thesis supervisor.

Interacting with students and coming to new insights together.
What is the reason you became a researcher?
Curiosity and wanting to know everything.
What is the most fascinating about human beings to you?
That some of them actually like math 😛
Are there times where you doubt researching or university?
No.
What makes IDA students unique?
The amount of internal motivation, drive, and knowledge.
If you could change something in the university setting what would you change?
More collaboration between diverse fields of study.
What advice would you give future IDA students?
Find a topic you enjoy and that is also challenging enough to stay interesting.
What is a collaborative project that you liked and worked with an IDA student on?
A project in which we tested a new method to test/model time-varying effects in ESM data.
How are you experiencing the teacher-student relationship in the IDA program?
Very little hierarchy and as a true collaboration (which is awesome!).
If you are not teaching or doing research, what else do you like doing in your personal time?
Listening to music and reading.
